Frozen Four 2014: Minnesota Gophers beat Sioux on buzzer beater goal (Video)

The Minnesota Gophers have advanced to the 2014 national championship game in the most unbelievable of ways, winning on a buzzer beater goal with just 0.6 seconds left on the clock. The ending to the game truly defined the entire theme of the game as each team was a one lucky break away from winning and the Gophers ended up being on the right side of fate.

In case you missed it, here’s a look at the goal you’ll see replayed on a loop tomorrow:

The Gophers will now go on to play the Union Dutchmen in the national championship while the North Dakota Sioux will sulk back home to Grand Forks to lick wounds that will likely never heal.
