Google Glass to be available for purchase one day only on April 15th

For months and months you’ve watched Google Glass be paraded around the internet, just waiting for the opportunity to secure your own pair, right?

Okay – maybe not – but there are plenty of people who are looking to get their hands on the technology and Google is going to help them out, though only for a day.

The internet titan announced on Thursday that they will be selling the Google Glass for a single day, April 15th, for the small price of $1,500 bucks – plus tax.

Next Tuesday, April 15th at 6am PDT, we’re opening up some spots in the Glass Explorer Program. Any adult in the US* can become an Explorer by visiting our site and purchasing Glass for $1500 + tax – and it now comes with your favorite shade or frame, thanks to feedback from our current Explorers. The number of spots available is limited, so mark your calendar if you want to get in. You can find us on Tuesday at: http://google.com/glass/start/how-to-get-one

Google didn’t announce how many units they’d make available, so, maybe right now it’s a supply and demand thing? Either way, if you’re wanting a pair, you better get ready.
