New Footage Released in New International Trailer for Deliver Us From Evil (Video)

We are still a little under three months away from the release of the eerie supernatural thriller Deliver Us From Evil; however, the people over at Sony Pictures and Screen Gems have done a pretty good job of keeping fans excited. Back in March, we showed you a new international trailer for the film that showed two of the main characters preparing for an exorcism. Now, thanks to the people at Sony Pictures, we have a look at a new international trailer for the film that debuts even more new footage from the eerie tale.

In a number of the previews, you can hear a unconventional priest by the name of Mendoza telling Officer Ralph Sarchie about the two types of evil in this world. He tells him that there is secondary evil, which is described as the evil that men do. Then, there is primary evil, which he says is something else entirely.

Unfortunately, it is the latter of the two that Sarchie is faced with in the film. The game takes a whole new turn when Sarchie’s family begins to be affected by the supernatural force.

Here is a look at the latest international trailer for the upcoming film Deliver Us From Evil.

The film is based on a book by the name of “Beware the Night,” a book written by the real life Ralph Sarchie and author Lisa Collier Cool which details some of the real-life cases he investigated during his sixteen years on the NYPD.

It is no wonder that the film has been able to deliver thus far in terms of creep-factor. Deliver Us From Evil is being directed by Scott Derrickson, the man also responsible for horror flicks such as Sinister and The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

Deliver Us From Evil stars Eric Bana as Ralph Sarchie and Edgar Ramirez as Mendoza. The film also stars Olivia MunnSean Harris, Joel McHaleAntoinette LaVecchia, and many more.

Deliver Us From Evil is scheduled to be released on July 2, 2014.
