Updated 2014 Frozen Four bracket: Minnesota, Union set for national championship

After a thrilling Thursday in the Frozen Four, which took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa., the national championship game in the 2014 NCAA men’s hockey tournament is set.

Heavy underdog Union (N.Y) was able to shock the world and knock off the defending national champion Boston College squad in the first national semifinal, while the Minnesota Gophers used some last second magic to take down North Dakota in the final game of the night.

The Gophers scored a buzzer beater goal to get past the Sioux and punch their ticket to the final on Saturday night.
