NBA Playoffs 2014: Spurs get homecourt advantage through posteason

The San Antonio Spurs got off to a slow start on Friday night against the Phoenix Suns, but they were able to regroup at the half and come out with a strong 37-point third quarter.

The impressive third quarter performance was enough to give the Spurs the lead heading in to the final quarter, where they were able to put the Suns away and advance their record to 62-18 while Phoenix fell to 47-32.

With the win, the Spurs were able to ensure the road to the NBA Finals in the Western Conference went through San Antonio by locking up homecourt advantage.
