Godzilla is a storied tale that has been around for as long as most people can remembers. The character dates all the way back to 1954 when the giant monster first appeared on the big screen in Ishiro Honda’s Godzilla. Now, here we are sixty years later, and Godzilla is preparing for yet another big screen adventure. In the latest poster for the upcoming film, we get a look at the iconic monster that pays credit to the big guy’s roots.
The black and white poster simply shows nothing more than the towering beast as he unleashes one of his mighty roars upon the land.
Speaking of Godzilla’s mighty roar, if you haven’t heard his roar from the latest version of the film, then you simply have to check it out. I can tell you one thing for certain, if this particular character were to ever come to life in the real world, I would have to worry about being stepped on, eaten, or clawed to death; no, I would drop dead of sheer fear.
The new film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen as Lieutenant Ford Brody and his wife Elle. The duo can also be seen soon as the brother/sister duo of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Godzilla also stars Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston, Juliette Binoche, Ken Wantanabe, Fifty Shades of Grey’s Victor Rasuk, Hawaii Five-O actor Richard T. Jones, and many more.
