With the buzz surrounding Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr beginning to heat up, his schedule of pre-draft visits is beginning to get busier by the day. According to the latest reports, Carr is set to visit with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday, along with the Cleveland Browns the followingweek.
The news comes from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Tampa Bay is not expected to draft a quarterback in the first-round of the 2014 NFL Draft with Josh McCown and Mike Glennon under contract, but the Browns are an intriguing option.
Outside of Brian Hoyer, the Browns have only Alex Tanney on the roster.
If the Browns wanted to add extra depth at quarterback, one of the more interesting decisions would be to select Carr with one of their two first-round picks and then sign his brother, David, as a free agent.
