Florida State Spring Game 2014: Seminoles fans protest new logo outside stadium (Photo)

Friday evening at the Spring Game Block Party, Nike and Florida State University unveiled the new uniforms for all of the athletic teams, as well as the new Chief Osceola logo going forward.

From the time that the new logo was leaked a few weeks ago, there has been an uprising against the change from some, and they are out today before the defending champs take the field for their spring game, expressing their displeasure outside Doak Campbell Stadium.

Now it’s interesting to note that, browsing through the internet responses on Friday, there were a lot of fans that were in favor of the new Florida State football uniforms, however that didn’t change their opinion on the logo.

Nonetheless, it’s something that they’re going to have to get used to going forward as the entire university will soon be plastered with the new Chief, just as the football stadium already is as you can see above.

It’s a new era at FSU, but some just will not accept it.
