Saturday afternoon, head coach Mark Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs will hit the field for their annual spring game as they look to bounce back in 2014 from a harsh 2013 campaign riddled with injuries, and eventually make a run at the SEC Championship.
Georgia had a lot of high hopes coming into the season last year, but things got off to a terrible start with an opening-game loss to Clemson on the road. Then, the injury bug hit them hard, and it ultimately took the career of the SEC’s all-time leading passer at the end of the season, Aaron Murray.
The Bulldogs and Richt have to replace Murray, but they do have one of the best running backs in the nation returning in Todd Gurley, and if he can stay healthy, you can never count Georgia out of any game this season.
