Saturday afternoon, six college football programs from the mighty SEC took the field to showcase what we could expect from them in 2014 in their annual spring games, and here are the attendance numbers from those outings.

Tennessee – 68,548

Georgia– 46,073

South Carolina – 36,412

Florida – 35,834

Mississippi State – 21,710

Vanderbilt – 8,400

The top attendance belonging to the Volunteers really should not be all that surprising. The Tennessee fan base is among some of the more loyal in the nation, and the buzz that second-year head coach Butch Jones has created around the program with the recruiting of top-notch athletes is astounding. Neyland Stadium will most certainly be packed a lot more this season.

Georgia comes in second with a lot of intrigue surrounding them with having to replace four-year starting quarterback Aaron Murray. Although, if what we saw from Hutson Mason today was any indication, Mark Richt and the Dawgs are going to be just fine.

And as for Vanderbilt–I know you lost James Franklin, but come on, get out there and show Derek Mason some support.
