It has been a great couple of days for the Northwestern Wildcats.
The Wildcats entered the weekend without any commits, but picked up their first on Friday when 3-star inside linebacker Nathan Fox gave the Wildcats his commitment.
A day later, it was linebacker Tommy Vitale who decided to spend his college years in Evanston, Illnois.
On Sunday afternoon, 3-star running back John Moten gave his pledge to the Wildcats.
Then, just a few hours later, the Dowell twins, Andrew and David gave their pledges to the Wildcats, according to 24/7 Sports, who spoke with their father, Will Dowell.
The 6’0, 195-pound Andrew, a 4-star running back, and the 6’1, 180-pound David, a 4-star wide receiver, both attend St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio.
Andrew is ranked as the 26th best running back prospect, the 14th best overall prospect in the state of Ohio and the 282nd best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
David is ranked as the 26th best wide receiver prospect, the ninth best overall prospect in the state of Ohio and the 293rd best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
The Dowell twins chose the Wildcats over offers from the Cincinnati Bearcats, Illinois Illini, Indiana Hoosiers and West Virginia Mountaineers, among others.
