Jimmy Rollins hits walk-off home run, tells fan to ‘shut the F up’ (GIF)

Last night a fan heckling the Philadelphia Phillies inspired them to win the in the tenth inning. Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins hit a walk-off home run and said the fan inspired him but declined to say what the fan said.

“There was some fan in the stands popping off,” Rollins said, via ESPN. “He was right behind our dugout, close enough to yell and piss me off, honestly. It was something pretty ignorant, but it worked.”

Rollins followed that up by saying that he “politely told him to shut the F up.” You can see Rollins look towards the dugout and read the words on his lip in this GIF below. If you watch the video beneath that you can see Rollins discuss it.
