Los Angeles Angels go back-to-back-to-back vs Mets (video)

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim hosted Bartolo Colon and the New York Mets today in Interleague Baseball play.

With the Angels allowing to take the early 1-0 lead during the top of the first, Mike Trout and the two power hitting veterans behind him got this Los Angeles crowd to their feet. Trout, Pujols and Ibanez did something that rarely happens in professional baseball.

Not only did Mike Trout send a pitch by Bartolo Colon deep, but so did Albert Pujols and Raul Ibanez. Ibanez picked up his 2,000 career hit last night against the New York Mets on a game-tying three run shot.

Here’s a look at Trout’s shot to center field, tying the ball game up at one a piece.

Next up is veteran first baseman Albert Pujols launched one to deep left field after Trout was done celebrating in the dug-out.

Last but not least, is Mr. 2,000 himself Raul Ibanez.

The Angels defeated the New York Mets today by the score of 14-2. Their sixth win out of the last 10 games.
