UFC Heavyweight, Travis Browne is set to fight jiu-jitsu ace, Fabricio Werdum in the main event of UFC on FOX 11 next weekend in the UFC’s first trip to Orlando, Florida. The winner of the fight will take on UFC Heavyweight champion, Cain Velasquez sometime later this year.
Browne has been on an absolute tear as of late, winning three fights in a row with impressive knockouts. In his last bout, Browne dispatched of Josh Barnett in just one minute with hellacious elbows. Prior to that fight, Browne took on Alistair Overeem in a monumental Heavyweight collision.
After getting rocked early, Browne somehow survived Overeem’s onslaught. Browne began firing off front kicks at distance to keep Overeem at bay on the feet. Ultimately, one of Browne’s front kicks landed flush on Overeem’s chin knocking him out cold after a few follow up hammer fists.
