Bubba Watson held off youngster Jodran Spieth to win his second Masters, and accompanying green jacket, in three years. So how does a golfer celebrate a major win like The Masters?

Well, you go to Waffle House of course.

“We are very fortunate to call Bubba Watson one of our regulars,” Waffle House’s vice president of culture Pat Warner told ESPN. “After growing up in Florida and going to school in Georgia, we were glad to be there for him as he came up the ranks in golf. It’s a testament to Bubba’s character that even though he has two green jackets, he still comes to us for his grilled cheese and hashbrowns. All of the Waffle House Nation is proud today.”

Watson is a small-town guy and that “regular guy” angle is part of his charm and popularity amongst golfing fans.

“It’s overwhelming,” said Watson, via ESPN. “To win twice, to be with those great names. … A small-town guy named Bubba now has two green jackets. It’s pretty wild.”
