Chick-fil-A Kickoff 2014: Alabama vs. West Virginia kickoff time, TV schedule announced

With spring practices wrapping up in college football around the country, the focus now turns to the opening weekend of the season at the end of August, and with that, the kickoff time and TV schedule has been announced for the annual Chick-fil-A kickoff game between the Alabama Crimson Tide and West Virginia Mountaineers.

The two teams will square off on Saturday, Aug. 30 and will get underway at 3:30 PM ET, West Virginia announced in their spring wrap-up release. Also, the game will be televised nationally on ABC and will be able to be streamed live via the WatchESPN app.

This will be the first look we get at the Crimson Tide following their disappointing ending to last season, which included two straight losses to Auburn and Oklahoma. It will also be the first game in nearly four years without AJ McCarron under center.

For West Virginia, they’ll look to improve from their abysmal 2013 campaign by shocking the world and handing Alabama their third consecutive loss.
