With several different needs across the board, the Minnesota Vikings could go in almost anydirection with the eighth overall pick in next month’s draft.

After losing Jared Allen, who signed with the rival Chicago Bears, the Vikings would love to add a pass rusher, but know the top pass rusher in the draft, Jadeveon Clowney, won’t be available at eight.

However, the next two highest rated pass rushers could be and the Vikings will have both in for a visit this week.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com and the NFL Network, Buffalo Bulls’ linebacker Khalil Mack and UCLA Bruins’ linebacker Anthony Barr will visit the Vikings on Thursday.

Some pundits consider the 6’3, 251-pound Mack to be the best prospect in the entire draft. His breakout game came in a loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2013 when he had nine tackles, 2.5 sacks and returned an interception for a touchdown.

The 6’5, 255-pound Barr had 41.5 tackles for loss and 23.5 sacks over the last two seasons.
