Steam Controller coming later this year

The Steam Controller is coming in 2014, possible in October or November, according to multiple rumors that were circulating at PAX East in Boston last weekend. The rumored release window could also indicate that Steam Machines will follow suit with a late 2014 release.

PC Gamer, which cites a “trusted hardware source”, first reported the release window that signals the machines could arrive in time for the Christmas rush. The website also states that 500 games are expected to be supported by SteamOS by the end of the year, up from the 382 games that are currently supported.

FanSided has reached out for comment on the rumor, and will update this post should a response be given.
