Chicago White Sox players don 'Boston Strong' shirts prior to game against Red Sox

On Tuesday, the Chicago White Sox welcomed in the Boston Red Sox for an American League contest, on the anniversary of the unfortunate events that took place last year during the Boston Marathon.

While the bombing itself was one of the more unfortunate incidents in the history of the country, it was heartwarming to see so many people rally around the city of Boston, and the White Sox players reminded us of that on Tuesday.

While the teams were warming up, the White Sox players sporting some very nice ‘Boston Strong’ t-shirts, like you can see in the photo above, as well as the one below that was posted in twitter by Major League Baseball:

This was a very great gesture by the White Sox team as there are many Boston residents, including most of the Red Sox players themselves, that have to relive the events of this day last year, unfortunately.
