The Northwestern Wildcats are on quite the roll.
On Friday, 3-star inside linebacker Nathan Fox gave the Wildcats his commitment.
A day later, it was linebacker Tommy Vitale who decided Northwestern would be the best place for him..
On Sunday afternoon, 3-star running back John Moten gave his pledge to the Wildcats.
Later on Sunday, the Dowell twins, Andrew and David, a pair of 4-star prospects, committed to the Wildcats.
Now, they have picked up their sixth pledge in the class of 2015.
2-star defensive end Trent Goens gave his pledge to the Wildcats on Tuesday.
The 6’3, 245-pounder took a visit to Northwestern just two weeks ago and really enjoyed what he saw.
“The visit was great,” Goens told Steve Wiltfong of 24/7 Sports. “My parents and myself were very impressed with what Northwestern has to offer, athletically and academically.
“I like them a lot. It feels promising.”
Goens, who attends Chino Hills High School in Chino, California, is ranked as the 56th best weak-side defensive end, the 127th best overall prospect in the state of California and the 1,321st best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Goens also had offers from the Boise State Broncos, California Golden Bears, Colorado Buffaloes and Miami Hurricanes, among others.
