The Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees played in the Bronx on Sunday. One particularly brave (read drunk) Red Sox fan decided to heckle an entire group of Yankees fans in the upper deck.
He brings up the Red Sox recent success and World Series win as an arguing point while taunting his opponents, who seem to be shrugging off his drunkenness. I found that surprising because usually Red Sox fans talking trash at Yankee Stadium get handled like this.
Then it gets interesting, for some reason he brings up the Dallas Cowboys and Dez Bryant. Maybe he is assuming that all Yankees fans are in return New York Giants fans. It does call into question the authenticity of his Red Sox fandem and sort of casts him as one of many Red Sox band wagoners during their recent success.
