First Trailer for Gone Girl Starring Ben Affleck (Video)

Gone Girl isn’t scheduled to hit theaters until October 3rd; however, fans don’t have to wait any longer to get their first look at the film. Late yesterday, the people at Twentieth Century Fox brought the very first trailer for the film online, and now we have it right here for you to see.

The tag line for the film is “You Never Know What You’ve Got Until It’s…” Those words ring very true in this instance.

On their fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne reports his wife missing. As the investigation gets deeper and deeper, it begins to look more and more like Nick is responsible for his wife’s death.

Although he asserts his innocence in the matter, that does nothing to stop the scrutiny; not only from the media, but law enforcement as well.

Here is a look at the first trailer for the upcoming film Gone Girl.

Gone Girl is based off of the novel of the same name by bestselling author Gillian Flynn, who also wrote the screenplay for the film.

The film is being directed by David Fincher, the man who brought you films like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Social Network.

Gone Girl stars Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne and Rosamund Pike as his wife Amy Elliott Dunne. The film also stars How I Met Your Mother’s Neil Patrick Harris, Missy Pyle, Tyler Perry, Patrick Fugit, Scoot McNairy, Kim Dickens, and many more.

Gone Girl is scheduled to be released on October 3, 2014.
