Twitter has made the world a smaller place with many celebrities and sports figures engaging with their fans via the social media platform, but I don’t think the intention of its founders were to have 61-year-old former college football coaches quote lyrics to Tupac.
However, that’s exactly what happened this morning when former Ohio State Buckeyes head coach and potential new president at Akron, Jim Tressel, dropped some lines from Tupac’s “Me Against the World” on Twitter on Tuesday morning.
For every dark night, there’s a brighter day -Tupac Shakur #QuietTime

A number of college coaches use this to unite the student body and fan base and others such as Hugh Freeze from Ole Miss have been known to tweet Bible verses and even Kevin Sumlin uses it after Texas A&M lands a verbal commitment.
But “The Vest” quoting Tupac? Nothing gets better than that.
Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to enjoy some #quiettime and listen to Tupac’s double-disc greatest hits album and try to keep my head up.
