The Indianapolis Colts don’t only have one of the best teams in the NFL, they also have the best home – at least according to Stadium Journey magazine via ESPN.

Stadium Journey used a Fanfare five-star scale to rate the categories which included fans, neighborhood, ease of access, food/beverage, atmosphere and more.

"“Lucas Oil Stadium is a fantastic venue, with the emphasis on the fans,” according to Stadium Journey. “This is one of the best sports stadium experiences in the country and should be on an NFL fans’ bucket list, especially as the team is well on its way to becoming an attraction in itself.”"

Coming in atop the leaderboard were the Colts, but they weren’t the only highly ranked teams as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers rounded out the top five NFL venues.

So who came in at the bottom of the list? The now defunct Candlestick Park (former home of the San Francisco 49ers) along with Qualcomm Stadium (San Diego Chargers) were the two worst in the league. Joining them was FedEx Field, home to the Washington Redskins which opened in 1997.
