Does LeBron James‘ fate as a member of the Miami Heat rely on both Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade? Possibly as Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders has heard that the only way James leaves South Beach is if both Bosh and Wade opt for greener pastures.
LeBron is not going anywhere. I think the only scenario in which LeBron is not back in Miami is if everyone else leaves, but from whats been said to me – LeBron is really happy with the situation in Miami and he’s not going anywhere. That could change if the cratered in the post-season, but I just don’t see that happening.
Of course, Bosh, Wade and James all have player options this offseason (and next) to opt out of their contracts but there’s not exactly a ton of reason for any of them to leave.
Even if the Heat aren’t able to return to the NBA Finals and win, you’d think such would be enough motivation for them to make further attempts together. And if they do come away with their third straight NBA title, why would you ruin the opportunity to win a fourth consecutive?
