There is one prospect from South Carolina who has been the center of the media’s attention leading up to the 2014 NFL Draft, and that is Jadeveon Clowney. However, there are now two other former Gamecocks who are in the headlines for all of the wrong reasons.

According to a report from TMZ.com, South Carolina defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles and defensive back Victor Hampton are “wanted for questioning” by the New York City Police Department in connection to a nightclub assault earlier this month.

The incident took place at Greenhouse nightclub on April 11.

The report states a club promoter was attacked by three men in the nightclub and suffered “extensive facial injuries.”

No arrests have been made in connection to the incident, but the NYPD’s investigation is ongoing and Quarles and Hampton will be questioned “at the very least.”
