When it rains it pours and for San Francisco 49ers linebacker/defensive end Aldon Smith, it’s a monsoon.

Smith was of course arrested over the weekend at Los Angeles International Airport for an alleged false bomb report and is still in the process of dealing with his pending felony gun charges.

The 49ers defender plead not guilty to the gun charges, but according to TMZ, Smith’s Santa Clara County bail number could be increased.

"Now, officials tell us Smith’s arrest in L.A. for allegedly making false bomb threats at LAX this weekend could impact that case.We spoke to Santa Clara County prosecutor Brian Buckelew … who tells us his office is “aware of the arrest and is monitoring the situation in Los Angeles.”If Smith is charged with a crime in L.A., prosecutors in Santa Clara could move to significantly increase Smith’s bail based on him being a danger to society.  His bail is currently set at $50k."

The three felony gun charges bring with them a reported four plus year charge in county jail.
