With the 2014 NHL playoffs set to begin on Wednesday, betting services around the web are beginning to roll out the betting odds for the most likely team to bring home the Stanley Cup.

It appears that the Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues are the current favorites, with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Chicago Blackhawks following closely behind.

The Blackhawks, who are the current defending Stanley Cup champions, suffered injuries to key players like Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane during the final stretch of the season, but both players are expected to be ready in time to contribute during the team’s playoff run.

With that in mind, getting the Blackhawks at 8-to-1 odds may be too good of a bet to pass up.

What are the odds for your favorite team?
