There was a report that South Carolina Gamecocks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney would be doing no more private work outs. MMQB.com’s Peter King reported the decision, which came on the heels of Clemson offensive lineman Brandon Thomas tearing his anterior cruciate ligament while working out for the New Orleans Saints.

Now Clowney’s agent, Bus Cook, says his client might do one more workout.

“He may do one more thing, for one team, maybe a five-minute workout,” Cook told Jarrett Bell of USA Today.  “It doesn’t make sense to do more than that, given the fact of what happened to the Clemson kid.  If they weren’t at the Pro Day or Combine, where are they?”

How much of a workout can you cram into five minutes? How will Clowney avoid injury in those five minutes?

“Just say there will be no heavy lifting,” Cook said.  “Nothing that will risk injury.”

Wonder if that five minute work out would change the “he’s spoiled, and he’s lazy” perception at least one NFC personnel man had.
