Back in December, we told you about an interview that X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer did with Entertainment Weekly about the film which brought fans the unfortunate news that despite being in all the promotional materials for the film, that the ability stealing mutant Rogue would not be making an appearance X-Men: Days of Future Past. It would seem that somewhere along the road, there has been a change of heart, and she will be in the film after all.
Now, don’t get your hopes up for a full on portion of the storyline. According to a report from BuzzFeed, the role will be much more of a cameo than anything.
The questions really started flying around when fans started noticing that despite reports that Rogue, who is played in the series by True Blood’s Anna Paquin, her name still appeared in the final trailer for the film which debuted late last night.
It was later confirmed by Twentieth Century Fox to BuzzFeed that she would be in the film, but in a very small role.
So, you can rest easy now, ladies and gentlemen. The crisis has been averted.
