College football opening weekend 2014: Neutral site TV, start times schedule announced

Although it’s still a few months away, the excitement for college football to being is already at an all-time high with spring practices wrapping up around the country, and ESPN just added to that on Wednesday as they released the complete neutral site schedule for the opening weekend.

Beginning in late August, some of the more prominent college football programs in the country will hit the field against one another to see if they can get their 2014 campaigns kicked off in a big way.

Here’s a look at the complete schedule for some of the best games to watch on opening weekend.

Thursday, Aug. 28
Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game
Boise State vs. Ole Miss – 8pm ET, ESPN

Saturday, Aug. 30
Croke Park Classic
Penn State vs. UCF – 8:30am ET, ESPN2

Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game
West Virginia vs. Alabama – 3:30pm ET, ABC/ESPN2

Cowboys Classic
Florida State vs. Oklahoma State – 8pm ET, ABC

AdvoCare Texas Kickoff
Wisconsin vs. LSU – 9pm ET, ESPN
