The Baylor Bears have made their mark with an up-tempo offense and a lot of speed and skill among their skill players on offense.
Now the Bears have added a player who has a claim to be the fastest player in the state of Texas.
3-star wide receiver/return man John Humphrey gave his pledge to the Bears on Tuesday.
Humphrey announced his commitment via his twitter account.

“It felt like home,” Humphrey told Brian Ethridge of 24/7 Sports.
Humphrey, who is from League City, Texas and attends Clear Falls High School, visited Baylor’s campus three weeks ago and nearly gave his pledge to the Bears then.
He is ranked as the 84th best athlete prospect, the the 71st best overall prospect in the state of Texas and the 602nd best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Humphrey chose the Bears over offers from the Arkansas Razorbacks, Boston College Eagles, Missouri Tigers, Oregon State Beavers and TCU Horned Frogs, among others.
