NBA Draft rumors 2014: Nik Stauskas to sign with agent Mark Bartelstein

On Tuesday afternoon, Michigan Wolverines guard Nik Stauskas officially declared for the 2014 NBA Draft. Now, it appears that he will waste no time signing his representation for the next level.

According to Jeff Goodman of ESPN, Stauskas plans to sign with agent Mark Bartelstein.

Bartlestein works with Priority Sports & Entertainment and currently represents 31 players. with All-Star David Lee being the biggest name on his client list.

The agent has also been able to score deals worth more than $5 million per year for the likes of Taj Gibson, Jose Calderon and Carl Landry. Another client, Bradley Beal, is set to make over $5 million beginning in the 2015 season, but there is a chance he could get a new deal by then.

Stauskas is projected to be a lottery pick, so if he can live up to the expectations he will hope to get a big pay day down the line like Bartlestein has been able to come through with for some of his other top clients.
