There has been a lot of mystery about whether or not international basketball star Dario Saric would be entering the NBA Draft this summer. While he was initially set to declare for a second time, after pulling out last year, Saric’s father raised doubts about his son entering for a second consecutive year.
But despite the doubt, Saric’s new agent Misko Raznatovic has spoke up on the matter and put the rumors to bed. Dario Saric, barring some unforeseen circumstance, will be entering the NBA Draft and head to the pros next season.
Dario will declare for the 2014 draft in the next seven days for sure, what’s a logical step after the best season in his career. He was voted the best young player in Europeby FIBA, as well as MVP of the Adriatic League.
Now that he’s officially declaring, Saric can be restored near the top of most mock drafts. No one knows the exact draft order yet but Saric is projected to be a lottery pick and could very well go inside the top 10 if his workouts go well this summer.
