We are still about three and a half months away from the release of the upcoming Marvel adventure Guardians of the Galaxy. Thankfully, it’s never too early to really take an inside look at the film. Yesterday, we showed you two new images from the film. Then, during last night’s episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC, we saw a brand new featurette for the film, which took us inside the filming of Guardians of the Galaxy. Now, thanks to the people at Yahoo! Movies, we have another look at this featurette.

As some of you already know, the Guardians of the Galaxy is very different from your typical superhero team. While they ultimately have the same goals as a team like The Avengers, they are very different people. They are the thieves, the bounty hunters, and the people that you just would not expect to be defending the universe.

We already know that Guardians of the Galaxy is going to lead to The Avengers 3, so it will be very interesting to see where this ride takes us. Unfortunately, that is something we will have to wait until the film’s release for.

In the meantime, here is a look at the new featurette for the upcoming film Guardians of the Galaxy courtesy of Yahoo! Movies.

Guardians of the Galaxy stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, and the voice talents of Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel as Rocket Raccoon and Groot. The film also stars Lee PaceMichael RookerKaren GillanBenicio del ToroJohn C. ReillyDjimon Hounsou, and many more.

Guardians of the Galaxy is scheduled to be released in RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, and Conventional Theaters on August 1, 2014.
