Agents Face the Ultimate Lie Detector in a Sneak Peek of Next Week’s Episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Video)

Everything is changing for Agent Phil Coulson and his team. After the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., everything they have come to know and trust has come to an end. Now, in a new sneak peek from next week’s episode, we watch as the team goes head-to-head with the ultimate lie detector test.

Things have definitely gone from bad to worse for Coulson’s team. Not only have they lost pretty much everything that they have ever believed in, but they have a traitor among them, one that is closer than they ever could have imagined.

In fact, in last week’s episode, they allowed him to just come walking right into the team’s newest hiding place without so much as a question.

Now that the team has been properly introduced to Agent Eric Koenig, who is being played in the series by the hilarious Patton Oswalt, the team is about to face off with the ultimate in lie detection technology; something that Director Nick Fury designed himself.

According to Agent Koenig, Fury wanted to create a lie detector that even Agent Romanoff, better known as Black Widow, couldn’t beat. Of course, Agent Ward is the first person to speak up and ask if she did.

I can’t say that I blame him. If I was in his position, I would be pretty scared knowing that I am standing just feet from the one thing that could probably tell all his secrets in the blink of an eye; especially that pesky little business about HYDRA.

While we wait for all the action to get started next week, let’s take a look at the latest sneak peek of next week’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. entitled “The Only Light in the Darkness.”
