Chad Ochocinco will be playing football soon. But, no, it won’t be in the National Football League, rather it has just been announced that the NFL veteran has signed a deal to play for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League this upcoming season.

Not long after the announcement, the team made it official by showing Ochocinco inking his new deal with his new team north of the border.

This move was something that was rumored earlier in the week to possibly happen, but you never would believe it until you actually saw it.
Well, there it is.
Ochocinco last played in the NFL for the New England Patriots back in 2011 where he only caught 15 passes for 276 yards working with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. He then joined the Miami Dolphins in training camp, but was cut in front of a national TV audience while the team filmed HBO’s famed ‘Hard Knocks’ series.
