You can definitely tell that the college football season is only a few months away because the fan bases of rival schools are getting into it with one another, and that only get amped up with each day that passes.
Generally though, it’s just some harsh interaction over social media that takes place for now in the spring, but apparently some Clemson Tigers fans wanted to send a bigger message to their rivals, the South Carolina Gamecocks, very early on in 2014.
It seems that some Tigers faithful thought it would be amusing to vandalize South Carolina’s Williams-Brice Stadium with a painting of their signature tiger paw on the field.
This photo was captured by a South Carolina fan of the vandalism to show a little proof, and he seems to be taking it all in stride by taking his own dig at the Tigers.

Just a tad unnecessary here by whoever did this, but I guess you can be bitter when you’ve lost five straight to your rivals. Right, Clemson fans?
