Jonathan Toews makes his return to the ice for the Chicago Blackhawks since suffering an upper-body injury on March 30th vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins, but the hawks captain is ready for their first-round opponent, The St. Louis Blues, and he’s not worried about being rusty.
#Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews: “I’m ready to play the best hockey I’ve played all year.”

Confident words from the two-time Stanley Cup champion and former Conn Smythe Winner who also has a couple of Olympic gold medals on his resume.
Toews returned to practice on Tuesday and along with Patrick Kane the Blackhawks get their third and second-leading scorer back in the lineup for a Central Division clash with the Blues who dipped from the No. 1 seed to the No. 4 seed in the final week of the regular season.
You can watch Toews and the Blackhawks in their march toward a second straight Stanley Cup and their third in the last five seasons at 8:00 p.m. ET tonight on the NBC Sports Network.
