It should come as no surprise that one of the best players in the league, Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby, is one of the most represented players in the stands. When the NHL announced their top-selling jerseys from the 2013-14 NHL season it was Crosby who topped the list.
Crosby beat out Detroit Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk, Chicago Blackhawks center Jonathan Toews, Washington Capitals right winger Alex Ovechkin, and Blackhawks right winger Patrick Kane, according to the NHL Public Relations.
Another member of the Penguins, Evgeni Malkin, checked in at No. 8 on the list.
The Penguins kicked off their run in the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Wednesday night with a win over the Columbus Blue Jackets at CONSOL Energy Center, so the fans will get to continue putting those jerseys to good use throughout the postseason.
