The Sacramento Kings didn’t have the best season statistically this year as they’ve found themselves in the NBA’s lottery yet again. But it seems as if the players were just happy to know they’d have a home to return to when the 2014-15 season begins.
After years of turmoil, the Kings finally were sold to an ownership group who kept the team in Sacramento and while the standings didn’t reflect what the players and fans were hoping for this season, the emotional year came to a close on Wednesday night where Kings players began to sing Boyz II Men in their huddle prior to the game.
A roster in-flux, many members of the Kings team didn’t begin the season in Sacramento but that didn’t stop the group from forming a special bond.
Honoring it, the entire roster grouped together and busted out their best (and rather off-tune) version of ‘End of the Road’.
I’m not sure any of the Kings want to quit their day job and enter the world of professional signing, but it made for a wonderful moment.
