The action has been fast and furious in St. Louis tonight as the Blues and Chicago Blackhawks have been traded goals throughout the first period with the two bitter rivals trading punches like it was a heavyweight boxing match.
Brent Seabrook broke a 1-1 ties on a power play goal that was set up masterfully by Kris Versteeg and Nick Leddy.
However, that lead was a short-lived one as the Blues would answer less than two minutes later as Vladimir Tarasenko scored in his first game since undergoing hand surgery last month.
Kevin Shattenkirk and Barret Jackman assisted on Tarasenko’s goal that made it a 2-2 game at the 15:52 mark.
