TaylorMade white SLDR driver (photo)

TaylorMade understands a simple color change creates a lot of buzz in the golfing world.

Although the original white driver came out three years ago, it remains one of the coolest innovations, and when you combine a new paint job with tremendous gains in distance and accuracy, you have the best driver in the game once again.

The SLDR driver is revolutionary because it has a low forward center of gravity (CG) that allows the player to increase their loft without increasing their spin rate.  Therefore, the ball carries a longer distance in the air.  Check out my post about a TaylorMade “Loft Up” event at the Farmers Insurance Open for more information on “lofting up.”

The white SLDR is being offered as a limited edition version of the SLDR, so it might be time to purchase some new technology.
