Frank Haith notified Missouri AD of accepting Tulsa job via text message

Frank Haith left the Missouri Tigers after three seasons to take the head coaching job with the Tulsa Golden Hurricane yesterday in a move that came as a rather large surprise. The even bigger surprise came today when it was revealed just how he notified Missouri athletic director Mike Alden that he was leaving for another job.

Talk about having no respect for your athletic director, university, team, recruits or fans.

Tim Fuller will be Missouri’s interim head coach until a replacement is hired. A number of potential candidates have been mentioned, including Gregg Marshall, Michael White, Kim Anderson, Archie Miller and Matt Painter.

The Missouri job is one of two vacancies in the SEC along with Tennessee and Alden said the money is in the budget to hire a high-profile candidate.
