Memphis Grizzlies' Nick Calathes suspended 20 games for violating NBA Anti-Drug policy

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Memphis Grizzlies guard Nick Calathes has been suspended 20 games for a violation of the NBA’s Anti-Drug policy which will begin immediately.

According to Wojnarowski, it was a suspension for an over-the-counter drug, and there was no intent involved, it was just merely an accident.

This season, Calathes averaged just 4.9 points per game, but will now miss the team’s opening series of the NBA Playoffs against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and more than likely the rest of the playoffs going forward should the team advance.
