New MLB 14: The Show trailer

I haven’t played video games for a long time, but the new trailer for MLB 14: The Show makes me want to get back into the gaming world.

The player faces are scary recognizable, and the player movements are on point.  The trailer shows fingers grabbing a ball and dirt being kicked up from sliding into a base.  It is realistic, and should provide endless hours of entertainment for owners of a PS4.

Yankees starting pitcher CC Sabathia is ready to purchase the game on May 6th:

Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Brett Lawrie is also a big fan:

MLB 14: The Show is as good as it gets.

Hunter Pence and Yasiel Puig recently squared off in a big Giants-Dodgers rivalry game.  Puig got a hit in his first at-bat, and it is hilarious to listen to him cheer his video game self on.  The emerging star on the Dodgers dominated Pence 12-1.  Hopefully, the real-world rivalry games will be more competitive, but the Dodgers remain the team to beat in the NL West:
