There is not long now until the upcoming supernatural horror The Quiet Ones is unleashed on audiences nationwide. Last week, we showed you a TV Spot for the film that took a closer look at Jane Harper, the subject in the upcoming film. Now, thanks to the good people over at Lionsgate and Hammer Films, we now have a look at the third full-length trailer for the upcoming scarefest.

Just in case you have not yet heard of the premise of the creepy new horror film, here is a quick look at the synopsis for The Quiet Ones courtesy of Hammer Films.

“THE QUIET ONES tells the story of an unorthodox professor (Harris) who uses controversial methods and leads his best students off the grid to take part in a dangerous experiment: to create a poltergeist. Based on the theory that paranormal activity is caused by human negative energy, the rogue scientists perform a series of tests on a young patient, pushing her to the edge of sanity. As frightening occurrences begin to take place with shocking and gruesome consequences, the group quickly realizes they have triggered a force more terrifying and evil than they ever could have imagined.”

The latest clip is ushered in by a very young voice reciting this ominous message.

“Through the eyes, there’s a door, and invited they come in. In the quiet, they prey where the soul has worn thin. There’s those who are young, those who are weak. They inhabit, possess, they slither and roar. On this night The Quiet Ones will be quiet no more.”

I know I have said this on numerous occasions; however, it still rings true. This film illustrates why attempting to create a poltergeist and force something supernatural to occur is under no circumstances a good idea. Unfortunately, some people have to learn the hard way.

Here is a look at the latest trailer for the upcoming supernatural thriller The Quiet Ones.

The film, which is being directed by John Pogue, stars Sam Claflin, who some of you will recognize as Finnick Odair from The Hunger Games: Catching FireThe Quiet Ones also stars Olivia Cooke, who some of you will recognize as Emma Decody from Bates MotelJared Harris, and many more.

The Quiet Ones is scheduled to be released on April 25, 2014.
