The Minnesota Twins are patiently waiting for outfielder’s Oswaldo Arcia and Josh Willingham to make their returns to the starting lineup.
Arcia was placed on the 15-day disabled list not that long ago with a sprained wrist. He’s received a cortisone shot after injuring his wrist during batting practice before taking on the Chicago White Sox. There’s no word on if he’ll make a couple rehab starts before returning to the big league club.
But according to Matt Berardino on Twitter, Arcia has been taking some swings underwater and hitting off a tee
Gardy said Willingham lifted weights today but won’t swing until pisiform bone heals. Arcia took some swings underwater, plus light tee work

If he’s able to skip out on a rehab start, he could re-join Minnesota next week. As Berardino also noted, Josh Willingham has been lifting weights but is yet to swing a bat.
He suffered a hairline fracture in his left wrist, so Willingham isn’t allowed to swing until it’s fully healed. Good call by the Twins organization.
