Former World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry landed himself a role in Marlon Wayan’s upcoming comedy, ‘A Haunted House 2′. If you haven’t watched the first installment in this series, you can do so by checking out Netflix.
It’s pretty much ‘Scary Movie’ all over again. Now ‘A Haunted House 2′ opens nation wide today and stars Wayans himself, Gabriel Iglesias, Cedric The Entertainer, Jaime Pressly and Affion Crockett. I’m not sure how big of a role Henry has in this movie, but I’m sure it’ll be a memorable one.
Now Henry and Wayans sat down for an interview with WWE.com to discuss Henry’s role in this horror spoof sequel.
“Marlon told me that there was a role he felt like nobody could play it like I could play it. I went in and read and of course they loved it and said, ‘Look, we want you to be this character if you got the time.” – Henry via WWE.com.
“I’ll just say this: He’s a prisoner. It’s a stretch for him, playing a big, buff, black prisoner. It’s a stretch [laughs]…I mean he’s perfect dude to do it! The name of the role in the script was ‘Big Buff Black Inmate.” I said, “Hey, this is perfect for him! This is tailor made for you!” He was the first person I thought of. We were able to work it out with his schedule, he came down and was great.” Marlon Wayans via WWE.com.
Are you going to see ‘A Haunted House 2′? In theaters nation-wide as of today.
