Back in February, 4-star safety Ben Edwards gave his pledge to the Ohio State Buckeyes.

On Saturday, he became the Auburn Tigers second commitment of the weekend.

He joins 3-star offensive tackle Bailey Sharp, who gave his pledge to the Tigers on Saturday.

The 6’0, 196-pound Edwards is from Jacksonville, Florida and attends Trinity Christian. Trinity Christian is perhaps the most talented school in the entire country. It is also home to 5-star cornerback Kevin Toliver II, an LSU Tigers’ commitment, 5-star linebacker Jefferey Holland, who will have his pick of schools, 4-star defensive tackle Kendrick Norton, a Florida State Seminoles’ commitment and 3-star cornerback Victor Alexander, who has pledge to the UCLA Bruins

Edwards is ranked as the 18th-best safety prospect in the country, the 34th-best overall prospect in the state of Florida and the 282nd-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

Edwards chose the Tigers over offers from the Georgia Bulldogs, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Kentucky Wildcats, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and of course, the Buckeyes, among several others.
